Content Management System (CMS)

Our content management system (CMS) was specifically designed for those with no web authoring skills but a keen interest in managing their own website content. It enables you, the website owner, to take ownership of your content updates - anytime, within minutes.

The CMS comes as a part of the whole package, with hosting and web development. Sorry, it cannot be adapted to an existing website.

Our Standards

Our coding techniques comply with current development standards. The HTML code is validated by World Wide Web Consortium (w3c.org.au) and, just prior to launch, each website is tested on the top 5 browsers (at the time of development).

Complying with current coding standards ensures your website:

• can be scanned/read by major search engine spiders, 
• will work on current standard browsers, and
• is accessible to 99% of users.

How much will it cost?

Every project is unique so we don’t have scheduled or packaged pricing for website design and development. However our website fees typically range from $2.5K up to $4K for initial setup. This includes design, full development and search engine optimisation.

The ongoing costs range but are typically $700-900 per year.

When it comes to website development there are many ways to skin a cat. Various programming languages, pre-built CMS solutions, development and hosting platforms... the solutions are endless.

Your expectations in regards the features and core function of your website will determine which solution best meets your needs. We don't claim to offer the perfect solution for every organisation. However, our aim is to engage clients who will get the most value from our CMS.

We DON'T offer the following:

• Single page websites or temporary placeholder pages.
• E-commerce or shopping carts – there is an abundance of good solutions already on the market. You could also try www.webolution.com.au.
• Customised, web-based business systems – eg: client login or membership based websites
• Search engine optimisation on its own – we believe good SEO takes a holistic approach and requires good website design, development and content.
